CONCEPT AND EXECUTION
In bringing Fresh Rhymes to life, Clorets Fresh Rhymes Campus Showdown came about. This idea won us the pitch
Clorets Fresh Rhymes Campus Showdown is a Campus Musical Competition platform, in which students were required to compete against each other in dropping fresh rhymes to a uniform beat, produced by Clorets. The concept connected Clorets’ promise – fresh breath – along with target’s love/passion for music, as an aggregation, engagement, and reward mean, courtesy Clorets chewing gum. This was an open-air competition, conducted on a live stage, with qualifiers and eventual winners decided by the students, via popular vote
Clorets Fresh Rhymes Campus Showdown was a four-day activation held in select Campuses (8) across Nigeria.
The different activities comprised in the showdown are Campus storm & registration (entry for participation), Elimination rounds (whittling down of participants), and Finals (best of best slugged it out for top honors). Additionally, there were side attractions designed to excite & engage the viewing audience.
